Poor Posture sitting

Whys is it important to have a good posture?

Standing and sitting in the right position helps our bodies function properly. When you slouch or hunch, so does your spine, which can affect other parts of your body. Some of these effects include:

  • Circulation and pressure, which can cause vertebrae (discs) to deteriorate over time
  • Chronic back, neck and shoulder pain, sometimes causing headaches
  • A herniated disc, which could be the result of poor posture over time
  • Fatigue and muscle pain, as your muscles work harder to hold you up
  • Tightness, stiffness, loss of joint and muscle mobility.
